Google I/O conference set for May 8 through 10 2019


Rumors about Googles next major Android OS update has been pouring in for some days now, and now, it appears we have a set date for when the search giant will give us a sneak peek into its next Android OS.

In its usual manner, this year’s announcement is coming in the form of a coded Puzzle. And while it would have taken us years to figure out what is embedded in the code, it didn’t take long for Till Kottmann, a Lawnchair Launcher developer, to crack the code. He decoded the coded message in a Tweet in about an hour:

Although the search giant has yet to throw its weight behind this, the Lawnchair Launcher developer revealed that Google’s next I/O developer conference is scheduled to commence from May 7 through May 9th, 2019 at the at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.

The next iteration of the Android OS is obviously the major highlight of the conference, however, the search giant will also reveal other tech innovations that will end up on Android phones or Google’s products.
