Today, OPPO’s Vice President revealed on Weibo that he will showcase the company’s 10X hybrid lossless zoom technology at MWC2019. The company will also announce the time table of this technology which is expected to be mass-produced in the first half of this year. At the OPPO Beijing Future Technology Communication Conference in January this year, OPPO officially announced the 10x hybrid optical zoom technology, which uses a super wide-angle, ultra-clear and a telephoto three-shot structure.
OPPO also introduced the dual OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) on the ultra-clear main camera and telephoto camera, covering the entire scene from super wide angle to telephoto. OPPO’s Vice President, Shen Yiren, said that OPPO’s the first criterion for choosing whether to mass produce the 10x zoom is whether it can bring real value to users.
According to previous reports, the next generation OPPO Find X is expected to be named OPPO Find X2, which may be announced for the first time at MWC 2019. The biggest change is expected to be the rear camera. OPPO is also expected to launch the 10x hybrid optical zoom on the Find X2 and it may also integrate ToF technology.
