Oppo’s upcoming flagship to use its new 10x hybrid optical zoom and a 48MP Sony camera

Earlier today, the vice president of OPPO, Shen Yiren, announced some details of the upcoming OPPO flagship smartphone. Shen Yiren revealed that the smartphone will come with the trending Sony 48 IMX586 48MP camera and it will be well-stocked. More importantly, this new smartphone is equipped with OPPO 10x hybrid optical zoom technology.

According to the official introduction, OPPO 10x hybrid optical zoom technology needs a periscope structure. It uses a super wide-angle, ultra-clear main and telephoto triple-camera structure. It covers the “complete perspective” from super wide angle to telephoto. On the ultra-clear main camera and telephoto camera, OPPO also included the dual OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), making it easy to take clear pictures.

Not only that, OPPO 10x hybrid optical zoom technology is ready for mass production and the company says that it has the capacity to mass produce this tech. In the first half of this year, this high-tech camera zoom technology will be mass produced and available for purchase, Oppo said. At present, the detailed configuration of the smartphone to launch this technology is still unclear but we are sure that it is a flagship device. A few days ago, Shen Yiren revealed that OPPO has a new Snapdragon 855 smartphone which will be released this year. It is believed that this smartphone will come with the Oppo 10x hybrid optical zoom technology.
