Honor 20 Pro 5x zoom lens image samples shared online

Honor 20 Pro

The Honor 20 Pro which will be the flagship offering of Huawei this year will be featuring a quad camera setup. One of these quad cameras will come with great zoom capabilities and one of the company’s Public Relations Managers has shared some shots teasing the same on Twitter today. Now, we have previously seen image samples of the Honor 20 Pro, but those were mainly the product of the 48MP sensor and Honor’s  AIS Super night mode.

The Pro variant at least has 1x, 3x, and 5x optical zoom and the images samples demonstrate the quality of the sensor. Previous leaks had hinted at an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom qualities but this lossless zoom goes beyond that. The details captured in the zoom shots are as good as the standard non-zoom shots which makes us very interested in the shooter. Although, it likely won’t offer 10x zoom.

Gizchina News of the week

Honor’s first quad-camera handset will boast the world’s first 48MP sensor with an industry-leading f/1.4 aperture. There’s also a 16MP super wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 17mm focal length. Honor, like its parent Huawei, has gone full guns blazing on the camera department of its flagship but it will also be a looker from the design standpoint. Leaked images reveal a hole-punch design along with a shiny gradient finish on the rear of the phone. Honor has also just announced that it will be collaborating with the Xmen:Black Phoenix movie franchise and we can expect a special edition phone from this althoug we’re not yet certain what the company will name it.  The Honor 20 Pro launches next week on May 21.
