OnePlus 7 Pro is the last flagship smartphone of the popular Chinese manufacturer, and yesterday the well-known youtuber JerryRigEverything, after having recently submitted it to its usual torture instruments, he wanted to make a teardown to study its internal structure, above all to verify its concrete ability to resist water.

The well-known smartphone torturer does not spare compliments to OnePlus for the care and interesting tricks used in the design and construction of the 7 Pro model. Despite the lack of IP certification, in fact, the new flagship of the popular Chinese brand is perfectly water resistant.

The back cover is firmly glued to the rest of the structure and all the holes from which water could enter, from the USB Type-C port to the microphones, passing through the slot for the SIM, the speaker and above all the pop-up camera, are adequately protected with special rubber seals.

The youtuber also praises the ease of removal and replacement of the battery and does not skimp on the versatility guaranteed by the photographic sector, starting from the triple rear camera, with the main one and the one equipped with OIS and the wide angle without optical stabilization of the image.

For the sake of knowledge, the OnePlus 7 Pro display is then sacrificed, with the OLED panel not glued to the glass, to expose the device’s cooling system, which the manufacturer advertises as a “ten layer liquid cooling system”.

Ultimately OnePlus 7 Pro proves to be a certainly complex and very well made device. Take a look at the video for more details and keep in touch for more.
