Today, South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, held a launch event in Beijing where it officially released the Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A (2019, 10.1 inches) two tablets into China.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e uses a metal-integrated body, featuring a slim design with a body thickness of 5.5mm and a weight of 400g. The front is equipped with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2K and a brightness of up to 500 nits. At the same time, the screen borders are equally wide on all four sides, both of which are 8.7 mm, and the screen ratio is 84.8%. There are three options for color matching: enamel gold, platinum silver, and tin black.
The Galaxy Tab S5e is equipped with Snapdragon 670 processor, providing up to 6+128GB storage combination, equipped with a rear 13MP + front 8MP camera and a built-in 7040mAh battery which provides up to 14.5 hours of continuous video playback. The Galaxy Tab S5e also supports the Samsung DeX mode, which can be turned on without a connection to the monitor. In addition, the Galaxy Tab S5e is equipped with four speakers tuned by AKG to support Dolby Atmos.

The other Galaxy Tab A (2019, 10.1 inches) is positioned at the mid-range end. It also features a metal-integrated body with a body thickness of 7.5 mm and a weight of 469 g. The front side has a 10.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a brightness of up to 400 nits. The Galaxy Tab A (2019, 10.1 inches) is equipped with an Exynos 7904 processor, 3+32GB storage combination, a rear 8MP + front 5MP camera, and a built-in 6150mAh battery which supports up to 12 hours of video continuous playback.Â

In terms of price, the Galaxy Tab S5e starts at 2,999 yuan ($435), while the Galaxy Tab A (2019, 10.1 inches) starts at 1599 yuan ($232). Both tablets will be available for pre-sale in the Chinese market in June.
