The Chinese 5G commercial license was officially released today and equipment manufacturers are now ready to unleash their 5G products. According to reports coming out of China, Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, has two 5G products expected to be available within the year, namely Huawei 5G CPE Win and Huawei 5G accompanying WiFi.
At the MWC2019 in February this year, Huawei launched the second generation 5G terminal equipment based on the Balong 5000 – Huawei 5G CPE Pro. Huawei 5G CPE Pro not only has all the functions of the home router but also supports the use of a 4G/5G card to access the internet. The actual download rate of 5G is far beyond the gigabit broadband, up to 1.6Gbps. Huawei 5G CPE Win is equivalent to the outdoor Huawei 5G CPE Pro. It supports IP65 dustproof and waterproof and can transmit 5G signals to the home.
Huawei 5G accompanying WiFi is also equipped with Balong 5000 chip coupled with 8000mAh large battery, supports 40W fast charge and reverse wireless charging. It is suitable for mobile phones and notebooks.
Today, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued 5G commercial licenses to four major Chinese operators which include China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Radio and Television.
