Nokia 9 PureView

After teasing the Nokia 9 PureView debut in the last week, HMD Global finally unveiled its Penta-camera smartphone in India.

The handset is now available for purchase from Nokia’s website and Flipkart. It is priced at INR 49,999 (€650/$728) but only comes in Midnight Blue color with 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage. According to HMD Global, the device will be widely available in India on July 17. Upon this date, customers will find the handset across major Indian retailers. HMD’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, shared the handset’s history via a Twitter Post to celebrate the announcement.

The Nokia 9 PureView’s specs aren’t really impressive for the mid of 2019. It boasts last year’s Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB of RAM. However, this won’t be a problem for those who are purchasing the Nokia 9 PureView for its real nature – It’s a camera-focused device with solid performance.

The premium smartphone ships with five 12MP cameras (three of them monochrome) with the same focal length for stacked images with less noise, higher dynamic range and a unique portrait mode. Customers buying the Nokia 9 PureView can use the code PUREVIEW to get a voucher worth INR 5,000 (€65/$72) and Nokia’s truly wireless 705 Earbuds.
