There are still several months left for Huawei to officially announce the Huawei Mate 30 series. Even so, today dozens of leaks arrive every week on these models. We already know many of its features and also some details of its design. So far we have been able to see some screen protectors that showed the notch of the device. Today we can confirm these previous leaks thanks to real images that arrive from China. A user has shared in Weibo several photographs that have been taken for the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. They are not the best, but they allow us to confirm one of the most anticipated points: its notch.
These images are not official and therefore it is possible to be fake. That is why we recommend you take the information with caution. There is still a lot of time for the official presentation and some details of the design or features could change.
This is the notch and the screen of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro
The photographs have been taken in China and show how a user is performing some kind of test with the terminals. On the scene there are two Huawei Mate 30 Pro and what appear to be two Mate 20 X. Everyone is making a call, so we can think that it is a test of coverage in public transport. The Mate 30 have a protective case that companies usually use before the official presentation of the device. This lets us think that we are really facing real images and that they show the final design of the Mate 30 Pro.
The device has a curved screen. The curvature of these new screens seems to be above the previous models of 2018. Still, the most interesting is found in the notch. It does not follow the line of the Huawei P30. The company wants to include a 3D facial recognition and for that it needs all that amount of sensors.
What can be seen is that the overall size of the notch seems smaller than that seen in the Mate 20 Pro. Still, both devices seem very similar when we talk about the front.
We are facing one of the best leaks so far on these devices. We can not get much more clear of the images, because the protective covers do not allow to visualize the frames and the full bezels.
