Back in August, Oppo announced its second-gen Reno devices called Oppo Reno 2F along with Reno 2 and Reno 2Z. For some reasons, the smartphone maker didn’t reveal the Indian pricing as well as the availability details of Reno 2F. Oppo has finally announced the remaining details of the device for the Indian market. Here is everything you need to know about the Oppo Reno 2F for India.
Oppo Reno 2F: Indian Pricing, Launch Offers, Availability
Oppo Reno 2F comes in a single storage variant featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard memory. The smartphone is available in two color options namely Sky White and Lake Green. The smartphone is priced at INR 25,990 (roughly 367 USD) and will be up for grabs starting from October 4. As expected, interested buyers will be able to purchase the device from Amazon India as well as offline retailers. Furthermore, the preorder booking for the smartphone will kickstart from Saturday, September 28 on Amazon India.
Coming to the launch offers, those who will prebook the device are entitled to an additional exchange discount worth INR 4,000. You can also make use of the no-cost EMI option for up to 9 months. Oppo has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer Double Data offer on various recharge plans. For offline customers, the brand is offering 10 percent instant cashback offer on HDFC bank cards, EMI transactions or consumer loans. The smartphone can also be purchased in no-cost EMI via Baja Finserv and Home Credit.
Oppo has also partnered with Airtel and Vodafone to offer telecom specific offers. Vodafone Idea customers will get 250GB additional data on INR 255 recharge along with cashback worth INR 3,750. Like Reliance Jio, Airtel is also offering Double Data offer on an INR 249 recharge plan.
Oppo Reno 2F features a 6.53-inch AMOLED display having a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The smartphone also offers an all-screen experience with no notch and relatively thin bezels. Under the hood, the device runs on MediaTek Helio P70 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. There is a quad rear camera module featuring 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP mono lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP front snapper which uses a pop-up mechanism. All of these is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The Reno 2F runs on Android 9.0 Pie based on ColorOS 6.1. Other specifications include dual-SIM, 3.5-mm headphone jack, Micro USB and Bluetooth 4.2.
