Xiaomi alone sold more than 5.3 million devices in the country through its official site, Amazon.in and Flipkart. The Chinese firm has a huge portfolio of products available in the country, but when it comes to smartphones it shipped 3.8 million units in total.

The fast-growing Oppo’s Subsidiary, Realme, sold over 2.2 million smartphones during the same period on Flipkart. Furthermore, it claimed to be the smartphone category leader on the e-commerce site during the Big Billion Days. Worth noting, that Realme has only one year and a few months of availability in India. However, it still traces a path among the most popular firms in the country. The company is winning popularity fastly due to its recent smartphones that are bringing top-notch specs to the low prices. The Realme 3 Pro is a good example along with the Realme X Pro. Now the company is gearing up to release the Realme X2 Pro with Snapdragon 855+, 64MP price and an aggressive price tag.

With the Diwali festival arriving later this month (October 26), you can expect these rival brands to announce some more offers. This could further increase both Xiaomi and Realme sales in India, and eventually, put more fire on the competition.
