ZTE Cooperation earlier this week dropped a duo of smartphones – the ZTE Blade 20, and the ZTE  Blade A7s for the Chinese market. Both devices are decidedly entry-level smartphones, but with some enticing features – a 5000mAh battery, and a triple rear camera setup.

Priced at CYN 1,000/$140, the ZTE Blade 20 is immediately available for pre-order on JD.com, while the actual shipment starts from October 28th. These devices are at the moment limited to the Chinese market, as the firm has yet to reveals any launch plan for countries outside of China.

Powered by a monstrous 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charger (9V/2A) for a quick refill, the Blade 20 flaunts a 6.49” LCD screen with 720p+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a 91.1% screen to body ratio. There is a waterdrop notch above the display for the front camera. The device gets a square-shaped camera module at the rear featuring- a 16MP primary camera sensor, an 8MP wide-angle secondary lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It uses an 8MP sensor for selfie purposes. Both front and rear cameras feature HDR modes and AI enhancement.

On the hardware front, the Blade 20 rocks a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage space which you can expand up to 256GB using MicroSD card.

Notably, the Blade 20 comes with a remote care feature with which you can enable quick tech assistance. That is to say, you can control the phone remotely to connect to a Wi-Fi network or disable data (to avoid charges when roaming). This feature comes in handy those non-tech-savvy users. And what is more, the device allows you remotely add up to 5 emergency contacts for parents, by pressing and holding the volume up button for 5 seconds to automatically dial an emergency phone and send the location via SMS. Available color options include Magic Red and Turquoise.
