Honor V30 gets network access certificate

This week, three models of Huawei’s new machine received the network access certificate of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Among them, WLZ-AN00 and WLZ-AL10 are expected to correspond to Huawei’s Nova 6 series, of which the former supports 5G dual-mode full-network (NSA+SA). However, the latter is a 4G mobile phone. The third mobile phone model is OXF-AN00, which also supports 5G dual-mode full-network (NSA+SA). The guess is that this is the Honor V30.

Regrettably, the “certificate screenshot” does not reveal any information about the upcoming smartphone. According to Zhao Ming, president of Honor, the Honor V30 will be arriving in November. It is the company’s first 5G mobile phone.  According to speculations, the Honor V30 will come with a Kirin 990 5G chip and it uses a punch-hole camera design as well as a triple rear camera setup.

As for nova 6 series, it is even more mysterious and not much is known. This series has a 5G version but there is no rumor regarding its parameters. Nevertheless, too many Huawei devices are on-line to use the Kirin 990 5G SoC. Thus, the nova 6 will probably come with the Kirin 980 with an external Balong 5000 5G baseband.
