Oppo Reno Ace and Unicorn Gamepad C1 will soon be released in Europe and the UK

Oppo Reno Ace

Oppo took the wraps off its Reno Ace smartphone earlier this month. Along with compelling specifications, the smartphone came with a gorgeous 90Hz 6.5-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855+ and a 65W fast-charging system. Besides the standard version, the company has recently revealed a “Gundam Edition” variant and Unicorn Gamepad C1. Both products will be available for purchase starting 11th November.

Registered for these products started ahead of the sales. The Chinese phone maker has successfully registered the required trademark in Europe and the UK for these devices. This basically suggests that they’ll come for these European markets until the end of 2019.

Gizchina News of the week

The Gamepad C1 comes to make the Reno Ace ready for this gaming wave in smartphones. While the smartphone retains a beautiful design, with this gamepad you can have great gaming experience. The C1 Unicorn connects via Bluetooth 5.0. Judging by the images it features a four-way joystick, four circular buttons and two shoulder triggers. The gamepad isn’t only applicable to the Reno Ace. Oppo equipped it with an extendable design that is capable of accommodating smartphones ranging between 110 and 160mm in length.

In addition, the C1 counts with a textured region for holding the phone. This can prevent the glass back from being scratched. Moreover, it boasts a 4D linear vibration motor which brings an immersive gaming experience via the use of haptic feedback. At the time of launch, the Gamepad will only be compatible with Reno Ace, but Oppo will bring support to more Oppo smartphones in the future. That explains the extendable design.

It will be available for purchase starting 11 November at a price of Yuan 300 (~$42).
