Things are running fast for Xiaomi’s smartwatch department. After announcing the first “Mi” branded smartwatch back in November – The Mi Watch – the company has quietly unveiled the new Xiaomi Watch Color. However, there is a small catch. The core specifications and pricing details will only be disclosed on January 3. That’s when the watch will be available for purchase in China.

The teasers, however, are enough to reveal some tidbits about the Xiaomi Watch Color. It features a circular display that is believed to come with a 1.39-inch diagonal and 454×454 pixels of resolution. Moreover, the watch will come packed with all the standard fitness tracking features as well as heart rate sensor, accelerometer and barometer. Worth noting that it’s also expected to be swim-proof.
Xiaomi’s watch key selling points will be based on customization. According to reports, the company will offer a multitude of colorful watch bands. Thus allowing users to fit the watch with their style. We already know that it will come in at least three casing colors with Silver, Gold, and Black.
