Huawei P40 series gets Bluetooth certification – to arrive in March

A recent report from Tencent Digital shows that the Bluetooth SIG database has three new devices from Huawei that received Bluetooth certification. Interestingly, all these devices support Bluetooth 5.1 technology. According to insiders, the Huawei P40 series is among the three new models and now has Bluetooth certification.

According to the report, the Huawei models on the Bluetooth SIG database come with model numbers ANA-AN00 / TN00, ELS-AN00 / AN10 / TN00, and ELP-AN10, which all support Bluetooth 5.1 technology. In addition, from the perspective of the model numbers, these phones support 5G technology. According to insiders, the  Huawei P40 series is among these models.

From speculations out of China, this year’s Huawei P40 series may have three new models at launch. In addition to the Huawei P40 with a straight screen and the Huawei P40 Pro with a quad curved screen, there may be a Huawei P40 Plus. According to Huawei Consumer Business CEO, Yu Chengdong, the Huawei P40 series will debut in Paris, France in March this year. In addition, Yu Chengdong also said that Huawei P40 series will be sold in Europe through conventional sales channels.

The Huawei P40 Pro also uses a punch-hole design. This is the first time that a P series will use this design. The P30 series uses a waterdrop design while the P20 series comes with a notch. At the same time, the renders show two paint jobs – dark green and sky blue.

In addition, Huawei P40 Pro will use the same virtual volume bar design as Mate 30 Pro. However, this smartphone will come with a new periscope telephoto lens as well as support for 10x optical zoom.
