Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra and Z Flip: a leak reveals their prices

The prices of the Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra have just leaked. And as you might expect, their prices should be higher than those of last year. That’s in particular because all the devices will benefit from 5G. On the other hand, the Z Flip will be available at a much lower price than that of the Fold.

In exactly 3 weeks, Samsung will present its brand new range of Galaxy S. It will be called Galaxy S20 this year (and not S11, as you might expect). Each model has gradually unveiled over the past few weeks. We know almost everything about the S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, and even the Galaxy Z Flip. It’s the new foldable phone from Samsung that has illustrated itself several times on the Web. There was still an unknown element: the price of each of these models.

Gizchina News of the week

New rumors are now specifying the price of each of the models in euros. They come from Max Weinbach, well-known editor of the XDA-Developers site and generally reliable source. According to the information he was able to collect, the S20 5G would be available at a price between 900€ (about $999) and 1,000€ (about $1,100). For comparison, the S20 which is the “basic” model of the range is led to replace the S10e, which cost €759 ($850) when it was released. A significant difference between the two models. But we recall that the S10e was not 5G compatible at its release. The S20+ would be marketed between €1,050 (about 1,150$) and €1,100 (about $1,200). While the S20 Ultra 5G would cost €1,300 (about $1,450).

Finally, another piece of information, and it is significant: it would cost €100 (about $110) less for the different 4G editions of the devices. This would bring the S20 models closer to their predecessors in term of price.

As for the Galaxy Z Flip, the new iteration of the Samsung smartphone, it would be sold at around €1400 (about $1550). A price much lower than that of the Galaxy Fold marketed at around €2,000 (about $2,400) at its release, and which, unlike the Galaxy S range, has never seen its price changed. As usual, all this information is to be taken with caution and it will be necessary to wait until February 11th anyway to verify its authenticity.
