Now, frightening news has come, of a Redmi Note 6 Pro that basically exploded while being repaired by a technician. The incident was recorded on video by the store’s security cameras, where we can see that it was fortunate that no one was injured.
Redmi Note 6 Pro inexplicably exploded!
According to information provided by the newspaper Khabar Gujarat, the technician at the store Dhriti Mobiles was proceeding to repair the device, when a lot of smoke started to come out of its back panel.

It only took a few moments for the Redmi Note 6 Pro to catch fire. It ended up being thrown to the ground by the technician. Fortunately, none of those present were hurt by this incident, but the smartphone was completely destroyed.
Obviously, after that, questions regarding the security level of Xiaomi smartphones has been raised. Although this was an isolated case with respect to the Note 6 Pro, it is not the first smartphone of the brand to be involved in an event of this kind.

I have similar problem with Redmi Note 6 Pro, my battery bubbling.. send to official service centre ,they told me,maybe I overcharged my phone,but I said not,and i told them i have other redmi phone too,but the battery never be like this..
They fix my battery phone with not charge..thanks god..
Well I say buying a REDMI phone regardless of its model is a very cheap and lame thing to do.
Since Xiaomi is the iPhone of China Xiaomi needs to optimize their smartphones the way apple does theirs. I don’t like 🍎 products but you don’t hear them exploding like several Xiaomi smartphones.
I got that phone (Redmi 8a) for my mom and it’s the best phone she’s had hands down.
Samsung and iPhone did exploded too.
Some did have burnt injuries when iPhone gave them burnt injuries. There are many exploded iPhone in YouTube ! So do Samsung !
Well….we don’t know if the technician fixing the phone was a Xaiomi technician because we all know what happens to phones when they are not fixed by the company’s service provider. Xaiomi Redmi actually states that the phone could explode if opened and that if there’s ba fault return it to the company for repairs and not to fix it yourself.
