Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, is getting set to unveil its latest flagship series, Huawei P40 series. Like the Mate 30 series, the Huawei P40 series will not use GMS, however, it is still highly anticipated. Recently, some Huawei 5G smartphone got 3C certification. The devices come with model numbers ANA-AN00 and ELS-AN00. The applicant is Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and the first certificate issuance date is February 27.
Looking at the succinct specification of these devices, they should be the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro. The model ANA-AN00 uses a 22.5W power adapter and this should be the Huawei P40. The Huawei P40 Pro with model number ELS-AN00 uses a 40W power adapter.
At the Huawei terminal product and strategy conference, Yu Chengdong said that Huawei’s new 5G flagship mobile phone will be released in Paris on March 26. Earlier, Yu Chengdong also said that the Huawei P40 series will be sold in Europe through conventional sales channels. This smartphone will come with an Android-based EMUI operating system. It will probably also come with Huawei’s HMS which the company is trying to popularize.
In terms of configuration, the Huawei P40 Pro will adopt a dual-punch-hole full-screen design. This smartphone will come with a Kirin 990 chip, a dual 32-megapixel front camera, and a rear matrix Leica five-camera module.

Huawei P40 Lite is official
While we are waiting for the flagship models of the P40 series, the mid-range model was released a few days ago. Huawei P40 Lite uses a punch-hole 6.4-inch FHD+ display. It comes with a quad-rear camera setup with a 48MP camera (f / 1.8). The other sensors include an 8MP ultra-wide-angle (f / 2.4), 2MP macro (f / 2.4) and 2MP depth (f / 2.4 ) sensors. This smartphone uses the 7nm Kirin 810 processor, Android 10, 40W super-fast charging and so on.
The Huawei P40 Lite phone is a remodeled version of Huawei Nova 7i (or Huawei Nova 6 SE in China). Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) integrates Huawei’s chips, devices and cloud functions, including a complete HMS core service portfolio and related IDE tool platforms for development and testing, as well as key for Huawei devices application. This smartphone will have access to Huawei AppGallery App Store, Huawei Assistant, Huawei Browser, Huawei Cloud, Huawei Wallet, Huawei Video, Huawei Music and Huawei Reader.
