Samsung T55 Curved Monitor: Features, Specs
All three monitors come with similar specifications and features with the only difference being in the screen size. As the name suggests, the C24T55, C27T55, and C32T55 offer screen sizes of 24-inch, 27-inch, and 32-inch respectively. All three monitors come with a 1080p resolution VA panel with a refresh rate of 75Hz. As expected, they come with the support of AMD’s FreeSync technology. The panel has a GTG (Gray to Gray) response rate of 4ms. The display panel has a brightness level of 250 nits along with a contrast ratio of 3000:1.
Coming to the curvature, the monitor comes with a super curvature of 1000R. This means that the monitors are curved with an arc of a 1m radius circle. As per the company, this curvature is chosen since it is very close to the field-of-view of the human eye. Furthermore, the new curvature results in reduce eye strain levels. To reduce visual fatigue, the monitors come with Samsung’s Flicker-Free tech and low-blue light mode. Coming to the ports, you will get HDMI 1.4 port, a single DisplayPort and one D-Sub. It also comes with audio input and output ports. As expected, there are no USB ports in any of these monitors.
Talking about the design, the new Samsung T55 lineup offers sleek and minimal design with borderless design. There is a metal base that is quite thin i.e. 6mm. Sadly, these monitors are not VESA compatible which is going to be a deal-breaker for many users out there.
As of now, Samsung hasn’t revealed any information related to the pricing and availability of the all-new Samsung T55 curved monitors. With that said, the company might release the information in the coming days.
