If March was full of smartphone launches from Huawei, Nokia, Honor, Oppo, Realme and Xiaomi, we can say that OnePlus will take the domain of April with the new OnePlus 8 series. According to several reports, the company is gearing up to reveal three smartphones namely, OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and a new lite variant. While the company is prepping for the big unveiling, the leaks are popping out everywhere.

The new leak of today comes to talk about the cameras inside of the 8 Pro variant. The new piece of information comes straight from the popular Indian leakster, Ishan Agarwal. According to the leaker, the OnePlus 8 Pro has a 48MP primary camera which is Sony’s IMX689 sensor. It features an f/1.78 aperture. The big news is that besides this primary module, there is another 48MP camera in tow. It’s Sony’s IMX 586 ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 120-degrees FOV. The remaining specifications include an 8MP telephoto shooter with f/2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom. The fourth camera is a 5MP color filter. Worth noting that besides the 3x Optical Zoom capabilities the phone will also feature 30X Digital zoom.
Agarwal claims that the usual set of advanced camera features will also be present in the flagship. That includes Night Portrait Mode, EIS, OIS improvements, 3-HDR and cinematic effects.
