Today, Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, officially released its latest mid-range smartphone, Honor 30S. This device is the first smartphone to come with the Kirin 820 5G SoC. According to AnTuTu, the Kirin 820 5G is significantly better than Qualcomm 765G and Kirin 810. This chip is even comparable with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 as well as Kirin 990 chips (flagship chips). The online launch event shows that this smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels.
This smartphone does not use an on-screen fingerprint sensor and it does not use a rear fingerprint solution as well. Huawei incorporated a 2.4 mm ultra-narrow side fingerprint sensor on the one. In the camera department, this smartphone comes with a quad-rear camera setup. It uses a 64MP main camera as well as an 8MP telephoto lens (3x optical zoom), 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. The Honor 30S 5G comes with a decent 4000 mAh battery that supports 40W super-fast charge. According to the company, this charging capacity can deliver up to 70% in 30 minutes.
