The Honor 8S is an entry-level smartphone from Huawei’s sub-brand. While it isn’t as exciting as other devices in the mid-range and premium segments, it still achieved considerable success. I would say that it is successful enough for deserving a 2020 refresh. Today, a couple of leaks popped out revealing a new Honor 8S 2020 Edition.
The Honor 8S 2020 keeps what is usual in smartphones of this price range, it’s simple but capable and of course, keeps the highly-affordable price tag. The leaked post states that the new revised variant will retail at €135. The extra price is justified by the extra RAM and Storage. The last year’s model came with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage costing €120. The new variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Furthermore, the new model comes with a new gradient finish on its back. Apart from that, we have a similar design featuring a waterdrop notch display and a single rear camera with 13MP. It’s a good handset delivering decent performance for users who aren’t exigent. It may be enough for social media apps and casual low-demanding games.
Unfortunately, there still no details regarding availability. However, we believe that it may be launched in the next month.
