AeorBook Pro

CHUWI recently released a new 13.3-inch laptop model AeroBook Pro, which mainly improved the internal specs. And the upgrades are pretty significant. It features a new Intel Core M3-8100Y processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD disk, full-featured Type-C port and much more. The performance should be better by all counts and today we will take a look at the first tests, that prove it.

Better specs

The processor of AeroBook Pro got upgraded to Intel Core M3-8100Y, dual-core four threads piece with frequency up to 3.4GHz. The processor is powerful and stable and it’s mostly used in efficient office laptops, including the recently released Surface Go 2 premium edition. With 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of high-speed SSD storage, it can load large office applications and run software quickly and smoothly. SSD can read and write several times faster than usual HDD and eMMC memories, improving both the office and entertainment user experience.

Benchmark tests

AeroBook Pro performed pretty well in professional benchamarks such as CPU-Z, Geekbench 4, Cinebench R15, AS SSD Benchmark and others. So let’s see the exact data from this testing.

In CPU -Z, the score is Single-Thread of 271.5 and Multi-Thread of 776.6.

Then in GeekBench 4 it achieved a single-core score of 3642 and a multi-core score of 5990.

Next comes Cinebench R15 test. Cinebench is a test software based on the Cinema 4D engine to test the integrated capabilities of CPU and GPU. CPU scores reached up to 218cb, and OpenGL scores reached up to 25.01fps.

User experience

The laptop is perfect for both office work and entertainment and the makers stress the benefits of full sized keyboard for your productivity. Or enough power to handle design and drawing tasks smoothly, including loading large PSD format files and working with multiple layers.

And the integrated Intel UHD 615 graphic card can handle hardware decoding of 4K Ultra HD video and even dip into the light video rendering and similar tasks.

From all the tests and information it’s pretty clear, that CHUWI AeroBook Pro got some pretty nice and welcome upgrades.
