Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS limited edition sold out in South Korea

Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS

A few weeks ago, @SamsungMobile account started a promo campaign starring boy band BTS. It was the most liked and most retweeted post ever made by the company. So we should be really surprised by the fact that the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS limited edition had its stock completely depleted in South Korea in just a few minutes.

According to a report, the handset has gone in pre-order earlier today in Samsung’s stronghold. The stores sold out the device in just one hour. The BTS limited edition bundle includes a Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G in the exclusive “Haze Purple” color and the Galaxy Buds+ also in purple color. Moreover, the bundle brings a BTS-styled wireless charger, a limited edition case, and a poster for the hand.

As you may expect, the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Limited Edition carries the usual high price of these limited editions. The bundle costs a little more than the combined price of the S20+ and Buds+, retailing for $1,320. Worth noting that if you already own a Galaxy S20+ or any other device in the series, but is interested in the BTS themed items, you can at least purchase the Buds+ BTS Limited Edition. The hearables are available separately and online stores still have some units in the stock.

According to the company, the shipments of the phone will start on June 29 in the country. On the other hand, Global shipments are scheduled for July 9. The company will also offer only the BTS Galaxy S20+ 5G in South-Korea. Customers will be able to pre-order the phone separately on July 1. In the United States, the UK, and other regions, Samsung is taking pre-orders for just the smartphone. The Buds+ BTS are sold separately. If you’re a fan of the boy band and lives in any of these regions, be sure to pre-order it right now, since the stocks may be depleted in a few hours.
