Lenovo Tab P11 Pro, Tab M10 HD and Smart Clock Essential now released

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro

The market of Android tablets may not be so competitive anymore and Apple seems to have the segment under its belt. However, there are several companies in the Android side of the coin launching competitive products for this particular niche of users. Lenovo is among the companies that are not interested in giving up the segment. The Chinese firm has just unveiled the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro and Lenovo Tab M10 HD for Kids.

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro – the company’s most powerful consumer-centric Android tablet

According to the company, the Tab P11 Pro is the most powerful and premium Android tabled offered for consumers of the brand. The new slate packs a gorgeous 11.5-inch OLED panel with 2560 x 1600 pixels of resolution, HDR10, and Dolby Vision support. The tablet draws power from the excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G platform and is available in variants with 4GB / 6GB of RAM. Storage-wise, there’s only a 128GB option. If that amount isn’t enough for you, you can expand it with a microSD card.

The tablet comes four JBL speakers with 2.5cc chambers optimized by Dolby Atmos. If features an ultra-slim chassis with an aluminum-alloy unibody design and a dual-tone finish. The bezels are quite small with just 6.99 on all four sides and the device is 7.7mm thick.

Lenovo offers an optional keyboard and Pen that you’ll be quite useful for the load of Microsoft Office Apps that comes installed. The slate draws power from a massive 8,600mAh battery that promises up to 15 hours of usage.

On the camera department, we have a dual-rear setup comprising a 13MP main and 5MP ultrawide sensors. For selfies and video calls, there are two 8MP cameras on the front. Interestingly enough, Lenovo uses the selfie combo to enable face recognition feature. If you prefer a conventional sensor for authentication, be glad to know that the Power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

In Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, the new tablet will set your customers back by €700. However, it’s much more affordable in the United States at a $500 pricing.

Lenovo M10 HD – The second generation of the best “kids tablet”

The Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2 is a less powerful tablet with a clear focus on Kids. It makes use of the Kids space feature from Google.

The slate comes with teacher-approved games and books for free. Moreover, the Watch and Make tabs inside of the Kids Space show videos from YouTube Kids. Parents can also install the Family Link app on their phones to set screen time limits and content filters.

Under the hood, the tablet comes with a MediaTek P22T Octa-Core chipset with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage. Of course, it also comes with a microSD card slot for further memory expansion. The slate also features an aluminum alloy chassis and flaunts a 10.1-inch IPS LCD with 720p resolution and two Dolby Atmos optimized speakers. On the camera department, we have a 5MP selfie snapper and an 8MP camera on the rear.

The Tab M10 HD Gen 2 draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that should provide decent endurance for this HD display. It charges via USB-C port, however, there are pogo pins too. However, this will become more relevant in October, when the company will unveil a new variant featuring Google Assistant’s Ambient Mode.

The M10 will cost only €160 in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Customers in the United States will purchase this modest slate for $130.

Lenovo Smart Clock Essentials

The third and last product unveiled today by Lenovo was a new smart clock. The new product dubbed Lenovo Smart Clock Essential is a connected digital clock designed for every room of your house.

The smart clock brings a simple LED display that apart from the time also shows ambient temperature and weather forecast. A night light feature is built-in into the clock to reduce the eyes’ string if you pick it during the night.

It comes with a wide array of voice commands and the clock offers seamless support for Google Assistant. The Assistant can control over 40,000 smart home devices. You can even use the clock to play some music through its 3W speaker. It also has a USB port on the back allowing you to get a charge during the night.

The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential costs just €60/$50.
