There will be Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+. Furthermore, his sources in the supply chain claim that the Mate 40 will use a single front camera.

However, the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ may have a pill-shaped cutouts on the display to accommodate dual selfie lenses. The dual selfie lens of the Mate 40 Pro model will include a Sony IMX588 camera and a ToF sensor Sony IMX516.

The report also revealed that the Huawei Mate 40 series will use a Sony IMX700 lens. This is the 50-megapixel sensor that is on the Honor 30 Pro+ flagship phone. A recent exposure revealed the Mate 40 Pro’s rear camera design – a circular camera module. According to reports, the Mate 40 Pro will be equipped with a quad rear camera system, while the Mate 40 will be equipped with a triple rear camera. According to speculations, the Huawei Mate 40 series will be equipped with Kirin 9000E and Kirin 9000 chips.

According to reports, the Huawei Mate 40 will come with a 6.67-inch curved LG screen. This display will have a 90Hz refresh rate. In terms of cameras, there is a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The phone also has a laser autofocus module.

There will also be a Mate 40 Pro/Mate 40 Pro+ which should use a waterfall screen from LG Display and BOE. Just like the standard version, it also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and uses a Kirin 9000 processor. In terms of cameras, It will arrive with a 50MP sensor using Huawei’s liquid camera technology. Earlier reports believed that this feature will not appear until the Huawei P50 arrives next year. However, there may not launch the P50 series.

In terms of software, Huawei Mate 40 Pro will be pre-installed with EMUI 11 based on Android 11 and Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). However, the Huawei Mate 40 will come with an EMUI 10.x system.

The battery capacity of the Mate 40 series is 4300 mAh, 4600 mAh, and 5000 mAh. They are applicable to Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+ respectively.
