Samsung Galaxy M32 has specifications leaked

Galaxy M32

Samsung has pretty much revolutionized its smartphone series in 2019 with the arrival of Galaxy M and A series smartphones. Nowadays, the company holds a comfortable position in the mid-range and budget market segments. However, it is aiming to conquer the top and is adding more appeal to its cheap smartphones like for example 5G connectivity. The brand introduced a couple of 5G mid-range smartphones this year and is eager to introduce more. However, worth noting that Samsung will still offer 4G smartphones at a reasonable price for those who do not need 5G yet. One of the new smartphones coming is the Galaxy M32. Ahead of its release, the budget smartphone had some of its specifications leaked.

Samsung Galaxy M32 specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M32 will pack a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. This is an upgraded Helio G80 that offers a better grip for certain games. Still, it’s quite old at this point featuring a 12 nm fabrication process. Aside from the Octa-Core chipset, the new smartphone may come in two distinct variants. One will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage. The other will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage. Since this is a mid-range phone, we can expect Samsung to include a microSD card slot allowing for further memory expansion.

Gizchina News of the week

The Galaxy M32 will flaunt a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels). The smartphone will use a waterdrop notch design language, or what Samsung classifies as an “Infinity-U” display. The device will likely come with a 20MP selfie snapper with an f/2.2 aperture.

Moving around to the back, the M32 will pack a Quad-Camera setup. The setup will come inside of a square-ish layout that is present on other devices such as the Galaxy F62. The main camera is a 48MP primary unit with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide unit with f/2.2 aperture lens, a 5MP macro unit with f/2.2 lens, and a fourth 5MP unit for depth sensing, with an f/2.4 lens. Other leaked specifications include a 9mm thickness which probably includes the camera’s protuberance. The device weighs 196 grams and runs Android 11 straight out of the box. We assume that One UI 3.1 will be running on top. The device will have a huge 6,000mAh battery keeping the lights on. Unfortunately, we don’t know details about the charging bundled with this battery, hopefully, Samsung will be kind enough to provide more than 15W this time around.
