Xiaomi Mi TV ES 2022 series specs and price emerge ahead of launch

Xiaomi MI TV ES 2022

Xiaomi is much more than a smartphone maker, especially when we’re talking about China. The company has a huge portfolio of products on its domestic market. Just a few countries have the same luck of getting a percentage of these products. Among the hottest products, the company has a very appealing set of smart TVs in the country. The company is now preparing the launch of a new Mi TV 6 series in China on June 28. Earlier today, the company revealed that the new television lineup will be accompanied by another smart TV series called Mi TV ES 2022. The company was kind enough to tease some of its specifications as well as the price range.

Xiaomi Mi TV ES 2022 specs, price, and features

According to the Xiaomi Mi TV Weibo account, the new Mi TV ES 2022 series will cost around CNY 4,000, which is roughly around $620. The company further claims that these TV models will come with features that are unheard of in the said price segment. Some of the specifications a cutting-edge display. The firm states that the panel present in the Mi TV ES 2022 series will support multi-zone local dimming. Moreover, the screen will come offering more brightness and better color accuracy.

The Smart TV will also come with a bezel-free design a thin, sleek, body with a metal frame. These panels will also come with better built-in speakers and far-field microphones for hands-free voice control. The new TVs will also come with more RAM for enhanced performance. The TVs will work well with the Xiaomi ecosystem and will have certifications for eye protection as well as low blue light emission.

Mi TV ES 2022

The company further confirms that the new Mi TV ES 2022 series will come in three distinct models (display sizes) – 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch. These sizes are certainly appealing for panels that aren’t on the ultra-premium segment. We are curious about other aspects such as resolution and features coming with the TV. Judging by their size we expect no less than 4K, although 8K would be really interesting on the high-tier model. Of course, this is just our assumption. Perhaps the company will leave the super-resolution for the Mi TV 6 series. We expect further details to be disclosed in the next few days.

Unfortunately, just like the Mi TV 6 series, we don’t have much hope of seeing these panels outside of China.
