OnePlus 6T Appears Running ‘Crysis’ And ‘Hitman 4’ On Windows 11 In New YouTube Videos

OnePlus 6T Windows 11 Crysis

OnePlus 6T, which recently received a new OxygenOS update, has been spotted running Crysis and Hitman 4 on Windows 11 operating system. Since its global release back in 2007, Crysis has been serving as a benchmarking platform for PCs.

As a result, a rhetorical question “but can it run Crysis?” was asked regarding the graphics capabilities of a gaming PC, consoles, or other electronics back in the day. Crytek and Electronic Art’s PC game that completely destroyed most gaming PCs has surprisingly been spotted running on the OnePlus 6T smartphone.

This can be described as cheating a bit since, unlike the Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 11 on ARM processor is a desktop experience. However, this is nothing short of an achievement, considering the hardware and software required to run a Windows OS game on a handset, irrespective of the platform. It is quite impressive that the game runs on a smartphone that’s not designed to graphically support such games, according to SlashGear.

OnePlus 6T Runs Crysis and Hitman 4 On Windows 11

On June 4, YouTuber edi194 captured this jaw-dropping feat, and shared it to their YouTube channel, much to the delight of avid gamers, and OnePlus fans. In the video, the OnePlus 6T,  can be seen running the graphically demanding PC game, Crysis.

Although you can play Crysis on the phone running Windows 11 operating system, this is not the best gaming experience. Even after turning the visual precision down, the game faces various frame drops. Aside from Crysis, the YouTuber played another game on the OnePlus 6T.

The YouTuber posted another video to his YouTube channel on July 5, showcasing the 6T running Hitman 4: Blood Money. The game offers improved visual quality, coupled with better frame rates. Regrettably, the OnePlus 6T was unable to run some games including Skyrim. It is worth mentioning here that no one has tried running Doom on the phone yet.

This clearly shows that newfangled mobile devices are more powerful as compared to their predecessors. In other words, we might soon see manufacturers launch mobile phones capable of running PC games. On the downside, this is not likely to happen anytime soon, considering that AAA games are graphically intensive.
