The hotly-anticipated Honor Magic 3 series will include a Porsche edition that sports a unique outward appearance and more storage. Huawei was the first Chinese smart devices maker to collaborate with an automobile company. The collaboration saw the company teaming up with Porsche Design. As part of this joint effort, several Porsche Design edition phones and a Porsche Design Huawei smartwatch saw the light of day.
Honor is set to launch a new flagship smartphone series dubbed, the Honor Magic 3 soon. The Magic 3 series of handsets will offer powerful specs that have surfaced online recently. Details about the upcoming lineup’s variants and chipsets have already leaked. Aside from that, a leaked photo recently appeared on Weibo showing the Honor Magic 3 in all its glory. The leaked image suggests that the upcoming phone will draw inspiration from Huawei Mate 40 for its design.
Honor Magic 3 Porsche Edition Smartphone
Regrettably, Huawei’s former subsidiary Honor was not included in the collaboration with Porsche Design. Honor is no longer owned by Huawei. Moreover, since Huawei’s business is struggling, it appears that Honor and Porsche Design have now collaborated. A leak from the company’s home country China is evidence of this partnership.
The aforesaid leak has hinted at a Porsche edition variant in the upcoming Magic3 series. This shred of information comes from Weibo leaker @Bald Panda. Aside from listing three models in the upcoming lineup, the tipster revealed the specifications of the Honor Magic 3 Pro smartphone. If the leaker’s information is anything to go by, the Magic3 series will feature three models including Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro, and the Magic 3 Porsche.
It is worth noting that the leaker did not include the Magic 3 SE and the Magic 3 Pro+ smartphones in his prediction. Both, the Magic 3 SE, and the Pro+ were spotted online in the form of a tweet from Teme last month. As expected, key details about the four upcoming smartphones are still scarce. However, the Magic 3 SE might not pack a Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. A MediaTek chip or a mediocre Snapdragon chipset could power the handset. According to NotebookCheck, each SKU could house up to 5 cameras at the back.

The much-awaited Magic 3 series will launch on August 12. The company has been teasing the series’ design and features on its social media platforms. Last month, the company dropped a teaser video in a bid to build more hype surrounding the Magic 3 series on Weibo. The teaser video gives us a glimpse of the phone’s camera setup.
The brand has revealed multiple teasers until now that have divulged some details about the upcoming series of smartphones. For instance, they suggest that the Magic 3 series of phones will feature a mammoth, squircle, or circular camera module. Details about the rear design of the phones are still few and far between. However, word on the street is that the phone will adopt a dual punch-hole display.
