Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is set to launch in India later this month as a rebranded Moto Edge 20 Lite and will be available via Flipkart. On August 9, Motorola India revealed that it will be bringing the Edge 20 smartphone into the Indian market next week. Also, the company has been touting the device as the country’s slimmest 5G phone.
The Edge 20 Fusion was be made available under the company’s well-received Motorola Edge 20 series. The lineup has been floating around the rumor mill for quite some time now. The series will reportedly include the Edge 20, Edge 20 Pro, and the Edge 20 Lite variants. Another report suggests that the Motorola Edge 20 series will have four models. The Edge 20 Fusion variant was recently spotted on a leaked banner graphics.
Motorola Edge 20, Edge 20 Fusion Launch Date In India
According to Motorola India, the Edge 20 and the Edge 20 Fusion smartphone will be launched in India on August 17 at 12 PM (IST). Furthermore, the phone will be available through the e-commerce website, Flipkart. On August 8, the company teased the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion by sharing a short animation clip on its official Instagram account. The text in the clip read “Find Your Edge.”

India Specifications & Features (Expected)
Key specifications of the Edge 20 Fusion have surfaced on the web. The phone is will hit the store shelves along with the standard Edge 20 in India later this month. Ahead of the launch, the company started revealing features of the upcoming Edge phones. The Edge 20 Fusion will be a rebadged Edge 20 Lite, according to noted tipster Yogesh Brar (via Price Baba).
The company will use a MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC to power up the device in India. Other details about the upcoming device are still few and far between. According to Brar, the Edge 20 will boast the same specifications as the European model.

The phone features a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a hole-punch cutout design at the top center. Aside from that, the display supports HDR10 and 10-bit color. Moreover, it has an in-display fingerprint scanner for additional protection. The international variant will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage capacity.
A robust 5000 mAh battery will power up the full system. This battery comes with 30W fast charging support. In the optics department, it houses a rear-mounted triple camera setup, featuring a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Upfront, it features a 32MP camera. The phone runs on Android 11 OS with My UX on top.
