Vivo Watch 2 will come with eSIM support
According to the Chinese leaker, Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Vivo Smartwatch should carry the Vivo Watch 2 moniker. This certainly isn’t a big surprise. The big surprise in the package will be the availability of eSIM functionality. This will allow users to be able to make and receive calls without a smartphone. In the same way, they will be able to send and receive messages straight from the smartwatch without being tethered to a smartphone.
In addition to the eSIM feature, the source also indicates support for more applications. Vivo wants to offer an experience similar to the recently released Xiaomi Watch Color 2. The 42mm version has a 9-day battery life while the 46mm version pushes the battery life up to 18 days. If the new Watch 2 is coming in two sizes, then we can also expect some specs distinction between them.
