Samsung announced recently that it will be holding an Unpacked Event on October 20, with report suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE would be announced during the event.
Today however, the company has announced the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition, which is a new take on smartphone configurations when it comes to design.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 will come in five different hues that users can choose from, with two colours (black and silver) available for the frame. Customers can personalize their handsets on their own. Samsung says that 49 different takes are possible with this Bespoke Edition.
What Sets the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition?
What sets the device apart is the fact that the top and bottom can be selected separately, with the back available in Black, Yellow, Pink, Blue and White.
When it comes to the launch, Mario Winter, VP of Marketing at Samsung has said that: ” Each of us lives life in our own way: exciting, colorful, multifaceted”
“We believe that technology that accompanies us in our daily lives should be just as individual as we are. We know about the close exchange with the people who use our products: For many young people, media professionals, creatives, content creators, the smartphone has become the most important tool for expressing themselves creatively”
“With the entry of the Bespoke concept into the mobile category, we are creating a new opportunity for them to confidently show their sense of aesthetics and a portion of extravagance with individual designs”
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition is similar to the Z Flip 3in other aspects, with the only difference being the storage, since the device is available only in 256GB variants.
Availability and Pricing
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition will be available in Germany, USA, UK, Korea, Canada and Australia, with the availability likely to extend to other markets, only if there is demand. Pricing is set at 1,149 Euros in the region of Germany.
In case you already buy a Bespoke Edition and wish to change the design of the smartphone, you can do so using the Bespoke Upgrade Care, available for a small fee, with the cost being 49 euros per side.
Via the Bespoke Studio on Samsung, users can buy and independently make their own Z Flip 3 5G Bespoke Edition and the Galaxy Watch 4 Bespoke Edition.
Do note that if you wish to change the panels of the regular Z Flip 3 5G using this trick, you cannot do so, since Samsung seems to be limiting the same only to the Bespoke devices.
