Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Renders Hints At A Notched Display & More

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra renders

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra officially-looking renders have surfaced online, with some vital information about the upcoming tablet. As expected, the high-end tablet will boast an impressive array of features, coupled with an awe-inspiring design. The South Korean tech behemoth launched the Galaxy Tab S7 and the Tab S7+ tablets last year. In 2021, Samsung is reportedly gearing up to unveil three top-notch tablets.

The Galaxy Tab S8 lineup comprises three models. These include the Galaxy Tab S8, the Tab S8+, as well as the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, which is likely to be the top-of-the-line model. Regrettably, Samsung is unlikely to manufacture a lot of Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra units, according to SamMobile. The publication cites a rumor making the rounds in South Korea to claim that the Ultra model will be significantly short in supply at the time of launch. Moreover, the report suggests that only a few units will be available in limited regions.

In collaboration with noted tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks), 91mobiles has given us our very first glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra in the form of 5K CAD renders. Interestingly, the tablet seems to have a notch. In other words, Samsung will introduce a notch on a tablet before the Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple. However, it is worth mentioning here that the Ultra model will feature a small notch. Furthermore, the notch does not hide any tech like the Face ID. Instead, it will simply accommodate the tablet’s front shooter.

Moreover, the display has slim bezels on the sides. Thus, making it necessary to have a notch to house the front camera. According to the leaker, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will sport a mammoth 14.6-inch display. The Galaxy Tab S8, on the other hand, will feature an 11-inch screen. Likewise, the Galaxy Tab S8+ will come with a 12.4-inch display. In addition to that, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra renders showcase a pill-shaped camera module that seems to house two cameras. It also reveals a magnetic strip that will house the S Pen.

What Else To Expect?

The images give us a 360-degree view of the tablet, showing four speakers along with a Type-C port. On the downside, the tablet will not feature a headphone jack. However, 91mobiles have been informed that the renders are incomplete. As a result, we do not see the magnetic connectors, which are usually found on the left edge of the frame. Nevertheless, the outlet claims that is largely what the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will look like. The tablet will measure roughly 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4mm. In other words, it will be taller and slimmer compared to the Galaxy Tab S7+.

On top of that, the leakers suggest that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have a notch display unlike the other two models in the lineup. Details about the Galaxy Tab S8+ are still scarce. The design details of the Galaxy Tab S8, on the other hand, have popped up on the internet recently. Moreover, details about the tablet’s availability are also few and far between. The Galaxy Tab S8 series was expected to go official during the recently concluded Unpacked Part 2 event. However, that didn’t happen. So, the tablets are likely to launch in November or December, provided the global chip shortage doesn’t force Samsung to push the launch date to 2022.
