iQOO 8

The iQOO 9 smartphone has been spotted on the Indian IMEI database, hinting at its imminent launch in the country. The popular Vivo sub-brand unveiled two new smartphones earlier this year. The newly launched iQOO 8 series of flagship smartphones comprises two models. The standard iQOO 8 model is a slightly improved version of its predecessor. However, the larger model dubbed the iQOO 8 Pro boasts an array of significantly improved specifications. Aside from that, the Pro model offers a slew of awe-inspiring features.

It is worth mentioning here that iQOO has still not brought the iQOO 8 series smartphones into the Indian market. The word on the street is that the company is gearing up to launch the iQOO 8 and the iQOO 8 Pro in the country later this year. Although the iQOO 8 flagship phones haven’t received an India launch date, it seems that the company is already working on the iQOO 9 series. An iQOO smartphone has appeared on the IMEI database. Now, a report from MySmartPrice suggests that the device could be the upcoming iQOO 9.

iQOO 9 Spotted On IMEI Database

Despite the lack of an official confirmation, the report suggests that the iQOO 9 series could go official early next year. In the meantime, an alleged iQOO 9 series has appeared on the Indian IMEI Database. The vanilla variant carries model number V2171A. Aside from that, the global IMEI database confirms the iQOO 9 moniker. The same iQOO V2171A has been spotted on the Indian IMEI database. This suggests that the iQOO 9 series is headed to India.

Since this is the first time, the iQOO 9 has popped up on the internet, details about the purported handset are still scarce. Nevertheless, the phone could pass through multiple certification websites with more vital information in the next few weeks. Earlier this year, a report suggested that the iQOO 9 will ditch the 4,000mAh battery, and it will come with high-speed charging. The report implied that the phone will draw its juices from a 4400mAH battery.
