No difference between old and new iPhones – Apple co-founder

Apple iPhone 12

Apple recently released its new iPhone 13 series and this device is quite popular. As Apple’s annual flagship, the iPhone 13 series have been driving a huge wave of replacements. Apple continues to dominate the high-end market but there are some complaints. There are users who believe that Apple is getting so much by offering little. In recent years, Apple’s performance is more like “squeezing toothpaste”. The iPhones come with a few innovative application designs. In fact, it is becoming more difficult to distinguish between very old iPhones and new ones. Interestingly, even Apple’s co-founder sees this.

According to reports, recently, Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak said that he found that the iPhone 13 is almost indistinguishable from the previous versions. His words read “I got the new iPhone, I really can’t tell the difference,” Wozniak said, the software should also be applicable to the old iPhone.

In fact, what Wozniak said is true, and many netizens have the same feeling. The overall design of the iPhone 13 series has hardly changed. In terms of appearance and camera layout, Apple 13 has not changed much.

However, the official said that the width of the notch of the iPhone 13 model is 20% less than the width of the previous model. The rear lens module has changed from the vertical arrangement of the iPhone 12 to a diagonal arrangement. However, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max are still a three-camera combination, so there are no changes in the arrangement.

The chip and refresh rate can be considered as the major highlight of the iPhone 13 series. But for the old users of the iPhone 11/12 series, there is no need to upgrade to the iPhone 13 series, because there is basically no difference in the daily experience.

iPhone 14 may come with significant changes

Earlier, there was some news that Apple will launch the iPhone 14 series with a punch-hole display. Considering the sources of this speculation, it is very likely that the new iPhone will not use a notch for the first time in five years. However, due to the Face ID component, Apple will use a “pill-shape” opening so as to accommodate the Face ID components. There are even reports that LG is already working on similar technology. LG is one of the largest display suppliers of Apple.

Although the punch-hole camera design is not an entirely new technology, it is a big leap for Apple. Since the iPhone X in 2017, Apple has not launched any flagship iPhone series without a notch.
