The 6GB+128GB costs 1799 yuan ($282). But the first batch will be available for 1599 yuan. The 8GB+128GB is priced at 2099 yuan ($330). The Starry Sky Special Edition will be announced on December 20.

The company spokesperson said that in the past five years, Coolpad had gone from a cumulative loss of 7 billion yuan ($1.1 billion) to a positive profit.
