Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V23 series smartphones. In fact, the company has already introduced this lineup with the reveal of the Vivo V23e. Now, the company is preparing the next devices for this lineup, the Vivo V23, and V23 Pro. According to the past leak, the company is expected to launch the Vivo V23 Pro in India in January. Ahead of the official launch, the specifications of the Vivo V23 Pro are already out thanks to the Geekbench benchmark. Now, the device has passed through the Google Play Console listing that gives us some additional tidbits about the handset.
Vivo V23 Pro specifications
According to the specifications listed on Google Play Console, the Vivo V23 Pro (V2132) will pack a 2,376 x 1,080 pixels display. This is basically a Full HD+ resolution and will offer a pixel density of 440 pixels per inch. On the software front, the Vivo V23 Pro will run Android 12 straight out of the box with FuntouchOS 12 on top. This is a nice addition, after all, the iQOO Neo 5 series disappointed some users by bringing an underlying Android 11 version. Despite the fact that it comes with the newer OriginOS Ocean, the 2020 version of Android basically makes it feel outdated. Besides the software, we’ll have the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC with 8 GB of RAM.
Coming to the design of the handset, the Vivo V23 Pro will use a wide-notch solution. It quite resembles the iPhone 13 series solution. So, if you’re into this design, the V23 Pro will bring joy. The focus of the V-series always has been the style and the cameras, and the V23 won’t be an exception. The main camera is expected to be a 64 MP snapper. We also expect an ultrawide module to accompany this main module. We also expect a powerful selfie camera to come with this handset, perhaps with a 32 or 48 MP selfie snapper.
Unfortunately, details about the battery capacity are still unknown, but we expect at least 44W fast-charging. As per the previous leak, the device will have a changeable fluorite glass design. The smartphone’s rear panel will come with a “fluorite color-changing”. In other words, the back will change its color when exposed to sunlight. As of now, the Chinese handset has not revealed the official launch date of the Vivo V23 and Vivo V23 Pro.
