Upgraded Chuwi HiPad Pro launched with Helio G95

HiPad Pro

In July 2021, Chuwi released the HiPad Pro tablet armed with the Snapdragon 662 processor. And it has won a good reputation among the users, due to its thin and light design paired with high performance. But there were still some shortcomings, such as screen only with FHD resolution or processor’s general gaming performance. After half a year of intensive R&D and upgrades, Chuwi HiPad Pro now makes up for the shortcomings of its predecessor. Raising the resolution of the 10.8-inch hole-punch screen from FHD to 2.5K and upgrading the CPU to the gaming-grade Meditek Helio G95.

The upgraded HiPad Pro uses a 10.8-inch hole-punch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and pixel density of 288 PPi. Which is close to the retina level. With 97% DCI P3 colour gamut, more accurate color reproduction and more than 90% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio it brings quite stunning immersive visual experience. Its super high-definition screen keeps the visuals popping out, no matter if it’s for learning, entertainment, content creation, watching movies or playing games.

Now HiPad Pro packs a Mediatek Helio G95 (MT8789) flagship processor, which has already proven its performance and stability on many mobile phones. It comes with 2* Cortex A76 + 6 * A55 cores and the highest main frequency reaches up to 2.05 GHz. Built-in dual-core APU supports AI computing power up to 10GB ARM and 1TMACs. The running score is close to 320,000 points in Antutu V9 and single-core running score reaches up to 552 in GeekBench 5.4.4. Eventually multi-core running score clocks around 1675, which is basically at the level of high-end chips.

HiPad Pro

Powerful GPU

Then we have the latest Mali-G76 architecture GPU, with a main frequency reaching up to 900MHz. And also the HyperEngine technology, that fully optimizes game network delay, control, image quality, and load regulation. Which makes it perfect for current mainstream online games.

Support for high definition video content

And with Google’s official Widevine L1 digital certification, the new HiPad Pro allows you to enjoy premium content from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and other OTT applications using the best image quality.

New Chuwi HiPad Pro will hit the market in January, 2022 with a price, that is expected to be under $299. For more information, please keep an eye on Chuwi’s official website. It can be already be found at their Aliexpress store, but currently priced slightly above the expected range.
