Realme 9 Pro Series Specifications (Expected)

Now, Realme has indicated that the 9 Pro and Pro+ will be 5G-ready devices. Earlier reports suggest that the Realme 9 Pro series will launch in India in February 2022. According to a report by Passionate Geekz, the vanilla 9 Pro will come with a Snapdragon 695 5G processor. However, the Pro+ model will pack a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC under the hood. Also, a new report suggests that the Realme 9 Pro will be available in three storage configurations in India.

The report suggests that the 9 Pro will offer 4GB RAM+128GB storage, 6GB RAM+128GB storage, and 8GB RAM+128GB storage options. Aside from that, past leaks claim that the 9 Pro will sport a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Pro+ variant will get a slightly smaller 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. If these leaked specs prove to be true, it will be quite unusual for the Pro+ model to offer a lower refresh rate than the standard Pro model.

Furthermore, the rear panel houses a triple camera setup featuring a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront, the phone has a hole-punch cutout for the 16MP selfie camera. The handset will come with a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. However, the Realme 9 Pro+ will feature a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor at the back. Aside from that, it will have a 16MP front shooter, and pack a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. Lastly, both phones will run Android 12 with UI 3.0 on top.
