Since the series of bans by the U.S., Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, has been struggling with its smartphone business. However, this is not stopping the decent sales of new Huawei smartphones. Huawei’s official store recently put a 500 yuan ($79) discount on the Huawei P50 Pro taking its starting price to 5,488 yuan ($866).

The Huawei P50 Pro comes with the Kirin 9000 4G and it is available in a couple of colours including snow white and cocoa tea. There are also a couple of special editions of this device. When the Huawei P50 series was released, a mixed solution of Kirin and Snapdragon chips was adopted. Among them, the Huawei P50 Pro launched the HiSilicon Kirin 9000 4G and was replaced with the Snapdragon 888 4G chip at the end of last year.

As a new generation of imaging flagships, the Huawei P50 series also pioneers the “global” image information restoration system.

In the camera department, the Huawei P50 Pro adopts a four-camera combination with a Vientiane dual-ring design. The main camera is a 50-megapixel primary colour lens. It also has a 40-megapixel primary black-and-white lens. The 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens supports a 3.5x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom. There is also a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens to complete the quad rear camera setup.
