Chuwi announces 3rd Gen CoreBook X with Comet Lake

CoreBook X

The CoreBook X has always been one of the most anticipated notebook lineups for the Chuwi brand. And this year is no exception to the rule. The CoreBook X series didn’t have many modifications in the previous two generations, but Chuwi brought a fundamental innovation to the notebook in March 2022. It maintains the original advantages of the product and further achieves a lighter and thinner upgrade. And much more

The handy 3:2 screen ratio and lightweight design

The third-generation CoreBook X uses a BOE 14-inch screen, which is the same screen as the Huawei MateBook 14 uses. It adopts an ultra-narrow bezel design with a screen ratio of up to 85%, resolution of 2160*1440 and a 100% sRGB color gamut. With the 3:2 screen once again, the advantage in productivity is clearly there. Compared with the 16:9 screen of the same size, the vertical display area has increased by 18%. Meaning the efficiency in web browsing and office software use has been greatly increased. Thanks to the ultra-narrow bezel and full-size keyboard design, it is 10% smaller than the traditional 14-inch notebooks, almost the size of a 13-inch notebook. In addition, the heavy glass panel of the previous generation has been removed, which reduced the weight of the whole machine by 150g.
