Infinix is gearing up to introduce the Infinix Hot 11 2022 in the Indian market. As the name clearly suggests, that’s the 2022 version of the smartphone launched in the last year. I’m not a big of these nomenclatures, as Infinix Hot 12 would make more sense. Perhaps, the company has an Infinix Hot 12 under the wraps, for a future release. Time will tell. As usual, the Hot series is more focused on the entry-level segment, even though, the Infinix Hot 11 2022 brings an interesting design with a so-called “holographic” cover. Don’t hold your breath, that is just a fancy name for an interesting “moving” effect on the back cover.
The company’s CEO itself, Anish Kapoor, revealed that the upcoming handset will bring a holographic design at the back. Despite the mid-range specs inside, the phone will have a premium look thanks to that fancy finish. In addition to that, the phone has flat edges and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Both features are usually present in the low-end and mid-range segments. Not a big surprise, as we’ve never expected the Inifnix Hot 11 2022 to be a flagship or even premium mid-range smartphone. For this goal, Infinix has the Zero series.

Infinix Hot 11 2022 specifications
According to the company, the new handset will be quite cheap. Infinix is currently targeting the sub INR 10,000 segment in the market. That’s basically the same price range occupied by the last year’s model. The Infinix Hot 11 2022 will bring a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera. The device will be available in three colorways. These are namely, Aurora Green, Polar Black, and Sunset Gold. The device will pack a dual-camera setup with AI modes and a flash on the back. The 3.5 mm headphone jack will be placed on the top of the phone and to the bottom. The handset will pack a USB Type-C port for charging.
According to a previous leak, the smartphone will flaunt a 6.8-inch LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Interestingly, this panel will support a 90 Hz refresh rate which is not very usual for the Hot series. This comes thanks to the Unisoc T700 SoC. This chipset is more powerful than those in the T6xx series but is still mid-range oriented. Hopefully, it won’t have the same security flaws as its siblings. The phone will also pack 4 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of Internal Storage. The Infinix Hot 11 2022 will bring a 48 MP main camera, and an 8 MP selfie snapper. Last but not least, the Infinix Hot 11 2022 will bring a 5,000 mAh battery with 18 W fast-charging support.
There is no word on the actual launch date. However, Infinix isn’t the most buzzing company in India. Therefore, we expect a quiet launch in the coming days with available through major local retailers.
