iOS 16 will bring refreshments for native applications

Google has made its big move for Android with the Google I/O conference held the last week. Now, the eyes are shifting to Apple’s upcoming developer conference the WWDC 2022. During the annual keynote, the company is expected to present the big news for the other major operating system for mobile devices – iOS. This year, the company will present iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, and the new wearOS and tvOS versions. As usual, iOS will catch a lot of attention during the keynote and we are curious to see if there will be some surprises with the new mobile operating system. Interestingly, a new report has emerged with some key details regarding the operating system. It’s natural to see the rumors intensifying now that the launch is drawing near.

According to a new report, Apple will introduce major changes in iOS 16. However, we are curious to see if this time around, the company will be able to deliver them in time. After all, the iOS 15 was announced with many features, but its retail version arrived with just a few of them. iOS users had to wait a couple of incremental versions to get the announced features. However, this wasn’t the biggest issue with the previous version. Its first iterations were buggy. Hopefully, iOS 16 will have a much more stable release.

Gizchina News of the week

iOS 16 will bring new apps and interactions, but UI will be the same

As usual, the final iOS 16 version will arrive in time for the iPhone 14 series release. Obviously, the update will reach the more recent models including the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, iOS 16 will bring a set of changes across the system. There will be “new ways of interacting and some fresh Apple applications”. However, he further states that there won’t be a major overhaul in the system design, at least not in 2022. Therefore, the system will likely look like iOS 15, which happens to be similar to iOS 14. Anyway, Gurman states that iOS 16 will bring significant changes to the notifications. However, he did not give deeper details about this.
