Samsung Galaxy A54 downgrades the main camera to 50MP

The Samsung Galaxy A series is one of the company’s most attractive series. This is because it releases relatively cheap and decent smartphones. It’s one of Samsung’s best-selling series thus the company upgrades the lineup as quickly as possible. The Galaxy A53 has been on the market for about six months. However, the company has been working o its successor, Samsung Galaxy A54, for quite some time. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy A54 will feature a lower-megapixel main camera than its predecessor.

Samsung Galaxy A54 – from 64MP to 50MP

GalaxyClub reports that the Samsung Galaxy A54 will feature a 50-megapixel main camera. Recall that the previous Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A53 smartphones both have 64-megapixel main rear cameras. No other spec information about the Galaxy A54’s main camera has been revealed yet. Nevertheless, there are speculations that this device will use a mid-range 50-megapixel camera. A couple of Samsung’s mid-range smartphones have been using this sensor.

However, the Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A53 also have many flagship-level features. These smartphones come with features like water resistance, high refresh rate screens and stereo speakers. Thus, it is most likely that the Samsung Galaxy A54 will come with flagship features. In fact, it may even come with a flagship 50MP camera instead of the old mid-range version.

In addition to switching to a lower-pixel main camera, the Galaxy A54 will ditch the depth-of-field camera. This ditch will not be exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy A54, other Samsung mid-range smartphones will also ditch this sensor. In addition, the smartphone will come with Android 13 and One UI 5 systems. out of the box.

Oher feature that we will expect in this device includes GPS, LTE, dual SIM card slots, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. We also expect a fingerprint sensor as well as Dolby Audio support.
