Xiaomi MIUI 14 is an ultra-pure system that maximizes memory

MIUI 14

On December 1st, Xiaomi will hold a new product launch event where it will release its latest flagship series, Xiaomi 13 series. At this event, the company will also unveil its new Android skin, MIUI 14. According to the company, the MIUI 14 is an ultra-pure system with “minimum firmware, minimum memory usage, and minimum non-uninstallable applications”.

According to Jin Fan, who is the head of MIUI development, the MIUI 14 will have four major upgrades. The major features include

  • Fewer system pre-installed apps
  • More practical features
  • Anew design language
  • A smoother and more stable system experience

According to reports, the pre-installed apps can be reduced to as little as eight only. Users can choose to delete some pre-installed apps leaving only relevant apps such as phone calls, text messages, clocks, app stores and so on. Earlier today, Xiaomi also released the MIUI 14 Logo, with the slogan “Forge new life”.

MIUI 14 promises to bring a new, smooth and efficient user experience. MIUI 14 early adopters program started at 13:14 yesterday (November 28) and will end at 23:59 on December 28, 2022. From the perspective of the event rules, Xiaomi community users can sign up to participate in the MIUI 14 early adopter plan during the event time. The event is limited to one Xiaomi device (including but not limited to mobile phones and tablets) for registration. After successful registration, it cannot be replaced/cancelled. Be sure to confirm the device information when registering.

Xiaomi MIUI 14 early adopters plan activity

As we said earlier, the MIUI 14 early adopters program started yesterday. Xiaomi has released the “MIUI 14 Early adopters Program Activity Rules”. The rules of the event show that the MIUI 14 early adopters program is currently on and users have only about a month to join the event. In terms of the form of the event, Xiaomi officials will give users the opportunity to unlock based on the data reviewed by the user’s history. Users can unlock the event page during the event time to obtain experience qualifications or other rewards.

Users who have obtained the MIUI 14 development version experience qualification and the Mijia 8.0 public beta experience qualification can go to “Xiaomi Community-My-My Internal Test” to view the participating internal tests and learn how to experience them. In addition, after obtaining the MIUI 14 development version experience qualification, you need to wait patiently for the release. The push of the update will be in different batches for different models.

According to a report from MyDrivers, MIUI 14 may not include ads. The company wants to make the system attractive to users. According to the source, MIUI 14 would emphasize getting rid of bloatware and pre-installed apps. Xiaomi has already put a lot of work into this regard in MIUI 13.

When the update will arrive?

According to the reports, MIUI 14 will land officially within the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. Therefore, the update has been officially announced to be available for testers. The early adopters’ testing will continue until the end of December. Then, we can expect the internal beta and public beta sometime in January. Given the size of the list, this will be a long road.
