On January 5th, at CES 2023, Samsung released the Galaxy A14 5G mobile phone. The European version of this mobile phone comes with the Exynos 1330 chip. In addition, this phone also has a US version, which uses the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip. The phone has a plastic polycarbonate back and frame and starts at $200.

The entry-level Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has two versions in terms of RAM and internal storage. It has a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage version as well as a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage version. Both versions have the option of expanding the internal storage to 1TB using the microSD slot. In terms of imaging, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup. This setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera. On the front, this device comes with a 13MP sensor for selfies. In Europe, the available colours include black, silver, dark red and light green.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G mobile phone uses a 6.6-inch Full HD + display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This is quite decent for an entry-level mobile phone. Although the size bezels are quite thin, the chin is larger. To keep its lights on, this mobile phone comes with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. Samsung claims the device can last up to three days on a single charge with adaptive power-saving technology.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G mobile phone is equipped with the Android 13 – based One UI 5.0 Core system which can receive two major Android version updates and four years of security upgrades. The phone also supports a side fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 5 and NFC technologies. The Galaxy A14 5G weighs about 204 grams and measures 167.7 x 78 x 9.1 mm.
