Xiaomi 13 is so underrated – performs much better

Xiaomi 13

Chinese brand, Xiaomi officially released the Xiaomi 13 series back in December 2022. This is the company’s latest flagship and all attention has been on the Xiaomi 13 Pro. However, Xiaomi 13 users recently released some sample images of the Xiaomi 13. The netizen expressed surprise that the camera of this device did so well. A follow-up to the Weibo post by the netizen came from Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun. In reply to the initial Weibo post, Lei Jun said that the industry may have underrated the camera capacity of the Xiaomi 13.

The Xiaomi 13 comes with an in-built Leica classic picture quality. It uses a top sensor and retains the real contrast of light, dark and accurate white balance in the picture. This sensor is able to avoid large distortions of light, shadow and colour. It pursues the precise balance of computational photography. The sensor itself has the ability to optimize the image without any need for external artefacts.

Xiaomi 13 comes with some camera optimizations

In the default camera mode, Xiaomi assures users that they can use the images directly. There will be no need for adjusting the qualities of the image after capturing them. This makes it more convenient for regular mobile phone camera users. “Leica Vivid” is a brand-new Leica mobile image style. The target of this new style is to maintain accuracy with small adjustments to the image in terms of brightness and saturation. The image will show sharp and bright tones as well as vivid colours. This is more suitable for vivid scenes and information records.
