Honor is gearing up to introduce its next Honor Magic5 series flagships at the MWC 2023. On February 27th, the company will take the new flagships to the stage in Barcelona, and also, will kick the Honor Magic Vs foldable into global markets. While the “witness the Magic Beyond the Galaxy” momentum does not come, the company is keeping the hype alive with the Honor Magic5 Lite. Yes, the lineup is starting before the MWC 2023, with a new affordable contender. The Honor Magic5 Lite was recently introduced across global markets with premium specs like an OLED display, a 5G chipset, and a strong battery with fast charging. As per DXOMark, the performance of this battery grants the phone first place in its global battery ranking.

The reliable testers put the Honor Magic5 Lite battery on the probe, and the device passed through the tests with bells and whistles. In fact, it stole the crown of the battery life segment. The Honor Magic5 Lite is being introduced today in Europe, and we can say it’s an all-rounder flagship device. It boasts a 120 Hz OLED screen, and a 5G chipset, and archives an impressive score of 152 points in the DXOMark battery tests. In fact, this is the best-ever score recorded by a phone since the arrival of the new test category.

You may be wondering about the capacity of the Honor Magic5 Lite right? Well, the phone brings a 5,100 mAh battery and is paired with 40W SuperCharge tech. It provides up to 24 hours of YouTube streaming, 19 hours of TikTok browsing, and 11 hours of gaming. With just 30 minutes of charging, the device delivers 12.5 hours of video streaming. A quick 5-minute charging provided 6 hours of autonomy. With these impressive devices, the device scored high on the DXOMark tests. But let’s see what the device has in tow for the EU market.

The Honor Magic5 Lite packs a gorgeous 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the device brings the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset and has up to 6 GB of RAM with up to 128 GB of Internal Storage. The chipset brings an Adreno 619 GPU which is enough for moderate gaming.

In terms of optics, the Honor Magic5 Lite packs a triple-camera setup. It has a 64 MP main camera, an 5 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP depth sensing module. The phone packs a 16 MP selfie shooter. The phone brings Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with GLONASS, GALILEO, and BDS. It also sports NFC, IR Blaster, and USB Type-C 2.0 port. As previously said, the phone packs a 5,100 mAh battery with 40W charging. The charging adapter is included with the retail box.

The Magic5 Lite runs Android 12 and has Magic UI 6.1 running atop.

Pricing and Availability

The Honor Magic5 Lite is now selling in the UK with a starting price of £329.99. In select EU markets the price is about €369. The phone is up for grabs at hihonor.com and Amazon. It is also available at some offline retailers like Fanc Darty, Unieuro, and MediaMarkt. Some carriers like Carriers Orange, Telefonica, T-Mobile, and SFR are also offering the phone.
